Hey everyone. I’ve been looking around for new speakers to get installed in my 2013 AC. I’ve already got a new stereo upgrade and I love it so far. Is there a standard brand of speakers that you would recommend that are an improvement over factory. Thank you.

I replaced mine with Kicker 6x9 3-ways in the front doors along with Memphis tweeters. I put Kicker 6.5 inch in the back doors and added a Kicker 300 watt amp, plenty of volume and bass.

I went with JL Audio C2's and their 10W1v3 sub, massive improvement over factory system. One of my favorite things I've done to the truck

I went with the Image Dynamics 6.5" door speakers and tweeters. Image Dynamics CTX65 component system. They are fantastic.

It sounds killer, I wanted the 10TW3 but couldn't justify it. I did sound deadening on the rear of the cab, as well as on my doors, and it made a huge difference. @SSFtacoma98 That would be something to consider as well, will make any speakers you put in sound a lot nicer without the road noise. Going to do the floor pan as well next time I have the seats and carpet out for cleaning.

I put jbl 6 1/2 speakers in the front doors, and MTX terminators in rear doors (access cab). This system absolutely blows your eardrums out at high volume, and is nice quality at lower audio levels. They provide a decent amount of bass for no subs or anything. Subs and and amo are coming in the future, but just this setup alone is crazy loud. Totally recommend the jbl’s and MTX terminators, and i HIGLY recomendable getting them from crutchfield because that is an amazing website with awesome service.

I used focal ps165 front and jbl gtx 6.5 rear. I did this by using the taco tunes door adaptors. They are made great. I dont recommend their recurve. Message me if you care to know more about that.

But anything honestly has to sound better then oem paper speakers. But realize the oem head unit is tuned for the garbage paper speakers.
