Hey guys, I have a 2013 Tacoma Baja TRD package. I need to get new tires and want 33's. What lift should go with?

Check out Bilstein 5100s with OME coils and AAL in the rear.

I'm looking at the ome coils right now. What ones should I go with? There are multiple options.

It depends on how much lift you want, and if you're going to have a lot of weight in the front (e. g. plate bumper)

Call or email @HeadStrong Off-Road and they'll set you straight.

Doesn't someone make some spacers that are specific for pro's and baja's??

I have a 2009 dcsb 4x4 and Was thinking of buying from headstrong either the bilstein 5100/ 887/ Dakar/ LR UCA for 3 inch lift and 285 70 17 ko2 tires. Or getting the performance kit with 6112/5160/ Dakar. I wanted to get a 3 " lift so that I would have room for the 285's. Not sure if this kit would get me 3" and if I could use 285s. Also not sure if I would need and UCA with that kit either. I am definitely a newbie, but I want to do it right the first time with little regrets. Any help or suggestions would be helpful

Note you'll still have rubbing with 285s regardless of lift. Where it rubs is dependent on your wheels and backspacing. Also, anything over 2.5" will generally need UCAs.

I know you want 33's but since you paid for a warrantied lift with the baja edition I would bump up one size on the tires and call it a day. The truck is very capable and you would be surprised where it can go without getting 285s

Does anyone have pictures or a thread that can show what was needed to get trimmed to fit 33's with a 5100/887/LR UCA/ Dakar? Thanks TW fam

One thing that tends to get overlooked is that even with a lift those tires will get stuffed in compression and rub on parts of the wheel well. A lot of people get a cab mount chop and take off their mud flaps and usually have a little more trimming on the fender liner to fit 285/75r17's. The back spacing on your wheels will also keep your tires from rubbing on your spindles/brakes etc.
