Update: the 1st set of solenoids that were received were a no-go. The orientation of the mounting tab was completely off. But visually, the modified vvti solenoid looks to be a well made piece.

With the guidance from @Torspd and @Lucario Runner , more detail on the stock solenoid was provided to the vendor and now a 2nd (correct?) set of solenoids is on its way to us.

Hope to receive it in a week or two.

Would it be possible to illustrate where these solenoids fit on the engine? One per intake side?

That is incorrect. Those are the CMPs. The VVTi's are further rearward behind the CMPs.

They are right beneath the fuel rail line crossover.

Since I just got done finishing the installation of my supercharger, I’m in no hurry taking that all apart AGAIN; however, I’m interested to see how well these work.

I plan on getting mine dyno tuned after I install the new fuel pump sitting in the garage. Would be cool too get these in before then also. Costs $1k at a local place. Unlimited pulls until they get the tune perfect, using hptuner

    Yes and no....

The first set with the correct mounting bracket for our engine should be in my hands in 1-2 weeks.

That set will be used to qualify the product and quantify any changes.

I would advise to hang tight if you would prefer to proceed after the data is gathered and with the possibility of a discount. But if $$ doesnt matter and you're the trailblazing "shoot-from-the-hip" type, then you might want to order them from a retailer because any possible GB wont be till a bit further.

Although these solenoids arent a new product, I believe it is "new" to the aftermarket USDM 1GRFE platform. And I want to see if the "proof is in the pudding" with this product before organizing a GB. I would be disappointed if these solenoids end up being snake oil.

Teaser Photo. Got the two correct solenoids for the 1GRFE. Bracket and plug position appears to match stock/OEM. We are heading into the install phase and then testing. Thank you for your patience.
