Funding for this GB has been wired to our vendor Red Bullet. Red Bullet confirmed that their bank has received the funds on Dec 28th.

Next step(s): We wait on word from Red Bullet that production has started on our solenoids. The production run will take 1-2 weeks. Then shipment to USA (CA).

I haven't asked everyone for their mailing address because I don't need it yet. I will ask for shipping addresses when I get confirmation that these solenoids are on their way to me and participants on the "List of 40" will be contacted individually via PM or email.

Awaiting an update from Red Bullet. And expecting one this upcoming week.

    -------------------------------------------------------------

    1. There has been people contacting Red Bullet and trying to piggyback onto our GB. We've been sorting through this on the side so it doesn't interfere or cause confusion with what is the Official #40.

    2. This GB thread is public and thus has caught the attention of RB's main competitor and they are unhappy with our organization/partnership. They have voiced their unhappiness to myself (on IG) and sent inflammatory accusations about Red Bullet and implying that our GB will be null/void.

Who is the competitor? Please share their comments so we as consumers can investigate and decide for ourselves not to do business with them in the future.

Really only one other company selling them, QT, but the Tacoma solenoids they make are twice as expensive as most other Toyota ones they sell.

Someone in the supercharger thread got them but I don't remember seeing any post install results

I cant stand people that are so selfish they go out of their way and try and force themselves into something they weren't able to join during the open group buy. Sorry not sorry you were late to the show. Life isn't fair. Move on and either buy them outright, or wait for another group buy. By being a self centered pig, you potentially ruin the entire thing for the 40 of us that got in the right way.

On the second point, I love it. This is called capitalism duder. Cry me a river that 40 people are going to your competitors and organizing a discount for a bulk buy. Maybe do some introspection on your own company values and pricing and make yourselves more competitive. Threats and mean messages are the cowards way out in business. Pull up your big girl panties and instead ask yourself, "why aren't we getting this business? What could we do differently in order to make our company more attractive to potential customers?"

Earlier it was noted that QT was not happy about it. I would assume that’s exactly who it is.

Exactly assuming said competitor has had these for awhile I had not heard anyone trying to run them. Never even heard about it before the GB.

Once this GB is at a stage where the solenoids are in-route to me, I do plan to share the DM that was dropped on my IG. Until then, I rather not stoke the fire any more than its needed until our GB is near completion. I don't want a shitstorm to sink this GB boat while it's still sailing.

I just wanted to voice that this GB has been freakin' awesome and easy from within the TW community.... but there are public "lurkers" that are possibly making our ride a little bumpy.

My gripe is totally not with the guys that are on the "waiting list" or the ones that have expressed interest for a possible GB 2.0. I totally appreciate their patience and ability to play fair. I even had 1 TW dude who contacted me AND Red Bullet about the group buy but who wasn't in the List of 40. That's perfectly fine and that member actually helped push the idea for a possible GB 2.0 and started some very positive conversation. I encourage that type of effort, patience, and assistance. It's the people (non-TW) that contact RB trying to piggyback on our TW GB price who then go radio silent when RB forwards me their email and I ask if they want to be part of GB 2.0. Crickets...... That part makes me cringe at the freeloaders.

About my #2 point...I'm biting my tongue until the time comes. When this GB was in it's infancy, I researched and narrowed down the vendors to two companies. One was quick to answer emails and excited to work with me (us) regarding volume and $$$. The other wasn't so quick to reply and had priced themselves out of any initial negotiations so I focused on the first company (RB).

@TheFang  You would make a darn good sales director. Your business philosophy, although a tad aggressive, aligns with my own.

Anyways, I'll update when I heard something from Red Bullet. Thanks @MurderedTacoV2 for reminding me to keep you guys in the know....because this is all of our $$$, we all have vested interest.

Lastly, Happy New Years ladies and gents! Hug your loved ones and be kind to each other. @12TRDTacoma We'll keep this afloat until you're good to go again. :hattip:
