Maybe it is the missle button for those annoying drivers in front of you. :D
You are just out of missles.

That is a much needed option here in Atlanta. The slow drivers doing less than the speed limit in the left lane.

yeah same here..either that or everyone is backed way up because of one person who can't go the speed limit

I dunno, I was pushing it for ever... on and off and it didnt seem to do anything. It does blink when the alarm is armed thats all I can tell.

Its for the alarm, mine on my 04 is blue though you can put you key in the ignition press unlock lock unlock and it will go in ballet mode which is the alarm disabled so you can use your key to open the door, but its just an alarm

I had the same button in my 98 subaru. It is for the alarm. In my case, silent alarm. It would flash if it feels something mess with the doors or hit the vehicle. Also if I accidentally activated the alarm while the car door was open it would disable the vehicle. After much frustration I learned to press and hold the button with the key in while pressing on the break to essentially reset it. It is actually kind of a neat feature. Learn to love it.

My 2003 base cab has one too. Red light that doesn’t look push-able. Hehe, sort of afraid to even try after reading earlier reply about it going off and not being able to start his truck for 15 minutes. The cutout for it looks factory original.
