    The exhaust does sound very nice.

    Once you get those ripples out of the tune, it will run even better.

    With the unequal length y into the turbo, and the properp pairing of mufflers/resonators, the exhaust note sounds so much more like a sports car than a pick-up truck.

    Thanks guys. I'm happy with how my exhaust sounds...love how the corsa sounds.

    So I took a pic of the first and second runs. Both were don't in 3rd gear. Seems the graph looks better than the last two runs. Not sure why it does.

    Started to tear down the spare block last weekend while I had the smoker on (making prime rib). This will be my first attempt on building a motor so will be asking questions along the way. Will be taking my time with this one. I plan to keep the stock compression and will be doing rods and Pistons. Decided to take this on since I had it sitting and since my truck is boosted, wanted to have a motor on standby in case the one in the truck popped.

    Seems like the guy who had it didn't take care of the engine. just by looking there was something funky going on with the driver side. Guessing he didn't change fluids frequently cause there was sludge in the oil pan, heads and valves were dirty. Driver side plugs were all different brands and all had different gaps. Passenger side still had the oems and looked better. Only had time to strip the passenger head. Once I get the other one off ill know what bore I'll need for Pistons.

    Didn't have a chance to take the other head off yet. We just booked a flight to Japan so been pulling off some side work to pay for that. Gonna try to get them off this weekend to see what size pistons I'll need.

    Remembered getting a recall letter for my leaf springs and decided to check it. This happened a few weekends ago and I found this... :/

    Passenger side cracked right through. Good thing it's not the main primary leaf. Toyota servco in mapunapuna took care of it for me and replaced it with two new leaf packs. Truck now sits higher and more solid. I also ordered hell wig helper springs to help with loads and installed them last night. It really stiffened up the rear. Gonna have to test it with a heavy load. I Plan to order sway bar too to help with handling.

    looking at sometime next year. Lately I've been pulling p0137 on occasion. i think where the passenger wraf is, its been drawing a lot of heat causing it to go pull the code. Plus this hot weather isn't helping. my IATs have been way too hot. Im planning on converting to twins after the short tubes to get better readings and have the UCON be more effective with the twin setup. for some reason I want to do this before i do the motor.

    Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
    Would/could a meth injection help? Just a thought since it wouldnt require any additional fab work like twins and it would cool down ur ait and could lower ur afrs if need be, and be much more cost effective it would seem. Just a thought

    Meth injection could help for wot runs but I pull the code cruising highway speeds. It would come up maybe 3 times out of the week but more often now that weather has been very hot.

    As far as doing twins, I've always been leaning to go that route. It will eliminate a lot of heat in my engine bay since the turbo's will come right after the short tube headers and out of the engine bay. Fabrication will be a lot more easier for the hot side since There won't be too much bends since I won't be directing it back into the engine bay. Everything will be vbanded. Will need to pick up another wastegate since I already have one that I could reuse. The cold side will take a little more work tho but nothing I can't figure out. Will need a two inlet one out intercooler and I could probably salvage some of the IC piping I have sitting around. Right now it's in the planning stages and will hopefully get the ball rolling.

    Look into a track bar, it'll help keeping the leafs from fatiguing.

    Why not just link it? Been looking at THIS for a while but going to be hard with the gas tank and exhaust in the way.
