Just ordered the main and rod bearings for the spare motor that will be built. I originally called LCEngineering for them since it wasn't listed but they told me to order it from Jegs because it was cheaper from them. So they gave me the part numbers to order.

    Here's the part numbers
    CB190A - rod bearings $13.99
    MS2298A - Main bearings $66.99

    These are clevite parts.

Will be ordering main seal and thrust bearings from Toyota soon. Then I can start working on the bottom end.

Just rebuilding the motor or going full Metal jacket? Good advice on the denso pump.....I thought walbro would be good as long as it wasn't a knock off. Guess not, fool me once. Ill never support anyone to buy that garbage. You know what denso model supports 315, I looked, many don't put out their lph. Found a 255.....

So the truck just died on me. Drove less than 1/4 mile and it started limping. Then smelt an electrical burning smell. Saw the cel light come on but didn't check it before I killed the power. Now the cel isn't there anymore and truck won't start. Checked under the hood and can't trace the smell. Called my friend who builds cars for a living and he asked if I had anything connected to ecu. He thinks it could be that. Stuck my head near there and I could smell the burning scent from there. He thinks it's the ucon but will find out once I put my stock injectors back and see if it starts with the stock ecu. Currently waiting to get towed. This sucks balls Since it's my daily. Will find out tomorrow once I get working on it.

Youch! Here I am waiting for Gadget to get around to UCON for '12-'15. Hopefully it was just something small and fixable!

Yea man. I'll wrench on it in the morning. Had a long day and it had to end this way. It's funny cause every time I'm about to leave on a trip, something ends up happening to the truck lol

That'll be the best thing to do. Swapping back in the stock injectors and seeing if it will drive. In the mean time, just to try starting it, you could pull the UCON, then see if it starts up. It will be very rich, but you only need it to start. If it starts, you can kill it, then swap out the stock injectors and test drive it.

If it is too rich to still start, then you'll have to swap out the stock injectors regardless.

Correct. It's pnp that's connected. It's setup kinda like a piggy back.

So I took he ucon out, connected the stock ecu and it started! With all the fuel dumping in with the bigger injectors, my truck sounded like it was cammed lol. Will be changing out the injectors to stock now so I can drive it around. Smell is definitely coming from the UCON.

Not sure on what warranty is. I just emailed gadget and asked how to proceed. I find it odd as well. I bought it back in October of 2014. I'm sure he'll help me out.

Definitely this! But again as said above, this is the first I think we've heard of this happening to the UCON, so hopefully it was just a finger slip during the manufacturing and a wire didn't get soldered right or something.
