    Do you have a trailer hitch installed on your truck? $300 as mentioned sounds like the complete set up, a trailer hitch w/ ball mount. The ball mount set up with a 2" ball you purchased will work for many applications, but you need the trailer hitch or reciever installed on the truck.

    Yeah I have the tow-package on my truck already and that's what I kept telling the guys at Toyota, but they kept saying $300. All I know is I got what I needed and I just wanted to make sure the '11 Taco could handle 6k lbs.
