    How much did you pay for the labor to regear your 3rd gen? How long did it take? I got a quote from a local guy that said he’ll charge $200 per diff. He’s been recommended by other enthusiasts who say he’s an expert for Toyotas. He says he only work 3 days a week and that it would take 2 weeks, MAYBE 1 if I had everything. Im going to get more quotes, because I cant leave my truck in the shop for 2 damn weeks, not even 3 days, but every place here is closed for labor day. Im just curious about howbmuch yall paid and how long it took.

    Yeah that sounded like bs. I told him in the videos they knock it out in a day. He said that was in perfect conditions for the video, not real life...

    Idk if I mentioned this already, but with a revolution gear “mini kit” and labor Im looking at around $12-1500 here jn the valley. Maybe $900 if I was willing to take it Reynosa.

    I installed my rear 5.29's in about 4 hours. The front was an 8 hour day but the front also got spindle gussets welded in, new king coil overs, new Spc uca's and aligned. Not ECGS these where Yukon gear sets with master install kits from Rogue offroad.

    Not to be an ass, but why not try to do it yourself? Get a buddy or two and hash it out in a weekend, the rear should take you no longer than 2 hours I feel like if you have an idea how to remove it. The front would be the biggest pain I feel like.

    Removal and installation of front and rear diffs is about a 5hr job. Gear set up varies as every set up is different. Set up usually takes 6-8hrs for both front and rear. Add in solid pinion spacers or a locker and that adds a little more time. With scheduling, I can have gears done sometimes same day, if not the following day.

    Currently getting quotes from other shops in the SOCAL area, i'll have to drive, but there seems to be better deals in the bigger cities.

    Question, if i have a shop install the ARB locker to the rear without the compressor and airline set up, is there a port somewhere on the rear end that you just plug an airline into?
