Regear Shop in Texas?

Is there anyone recommended for re-gearing / air locker install in Texas? I am in Houston but the other major cities are close enough to consider.

Have you used either of those? If so, what work did they do for you?

 

I used Pyle Brothers 20 years ago to rebuild the diff on my 96 Impala after building a motor for it. Never had a single issue, and I beat the living piss out of that car.

Whether that translates into competent Toyota diff guys is another story, but my GM experience was top notch.


I havent heard much about Duggy's, but we have a few mutual friends and they all speak highly of him. Sounds like one of the bigger Toyota-specific offroad shops around.

I can set your gears up. I've also found a place local that can cryogenically treat the gears and bearings. Working on a local REM polish as well.

DFW area suggestions? I've heard good things about Tandem, want to visit a couple shops and get a re-gear and complete suspension install.

 

What about in South Texas? Like RGV south.

 

I know a guy that has done all my other gear installs. That's all he has done for race cars and everything else He is good

They have been working on my vehicles for a few years now. Excellent customer service and experts with Toyota’s. Just put 5.29’s and ARB Locker in my 2018 Tacoma last week. Best upgrade I have made.
