Decided to start up a build thread to help facilitate some of the ideas in my head for what I want to build and to track the progress and transformation.

I'm a fisherman, snowboarder, kayaker, MTBiker, camper, traveler and adventurer by nature so my intentions are to build a truck capable of handling what my lifestyle is built around. The most off-road she'll see is snow, sandy beaches and mild mountainous trails.... so in other words, nothing serious which means i'll need something capable but not completely inefficient as far as fuel costs go since i'll be doing some mileage heavy trips.

    Manuf. Specs:
    • Sport TRD 4x4
    • Double Cab
    • Short Bed
    • Magnetic Gray
    Purchased on Feb 29, 2016 - 6 miles ODO
    Bone stock, dog sold separately.

    • "TRD" emblem re-badge - black

    Phase 3 - Cargo Handling & Storage
    • This phase may end up being a Frankenstein mashup of a cargo system specific to my needs. Hoping to make it somewhat "modular"

Forgot to mention "REKER 1.0", my original mall crawling "OAV" from when I was in my early 20's:

I have always thought the 3rd Gen Tacoma looked a lot like the old Dodge Dakotas.
