Relatively loud transmission/drivetrain on 6 spd?

Another question from a newbie here:

Just wondering if this is a common thing with the 6 spd. on an 07 V6 Taco: when accelerating relatively quickly through 1st to 3rd gear, there is a fairly loud whirring between shifts (when clutch is pushed in) even if I let off the gas before and while the clutch is in. Also, just in general use (especially in lower gears) the drivetrain/transmission seems fairly loud. I am coming from a 93 4runnner with the 5 spd so maybe I am just used to a quieter tranny?

    Thanks!
