I currently have an old wrist release that is wearing out and I am looking for a new release to get. What releases do you all use? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i use a tru ball tornado. i love it. simple, reliable.

i need to buy a spare.

if i had to do it again, i would get a buckle versus the velcro that i do have. velcro is louder. a buckle you can insure consistent tightness, which translates to more accuracy. i like releases with shafts, not the strap. i reverse and tuck my release into my sleeve on long portions of the hike. after the season, i may send my in to convert to a buckle and buy a spare at the same time.

I was thinking about going with a finger release. When I used to shoot
competitions the coachs would always make us use the back tension finger releases for drills. Anyone using finger releases?

    stock, for now
I also have the .44 caliper. Its my backup, incase I drop my hand held out of the tree..My main release is the trufire 3d hunter 4 finger release. I was shooting robinhoods with it the first few days I had it.

The .44 caliper is too touchy for me.

I've always used Scott releases, dual and single caliper models.

I ended up testing some out at a local shop and ended up going with T.R.U. Ball Pro Diamond Extreme. I love the way it shoots and the 360degree head is a plus.
