On my bumper, the depth of the light is what you want to watch out for. Keep then distance from the mounting bolts to the back of the housing as small as possible. I can lean the hoop forward for extra room if needed though. I like my Hella 700FF's, cheap and seem pretty decent once you bump up to a brighter bulb or do and HID swap in them.

    WOW,
    Just picked mine up.
It is a monster, it looks wicked on the pallet with the points up. Kind of like the devil horns emblems:eek:
Sorry everyone my wife is out of town with the camera so going to be a few days.
Just saying it is a nice piece of work.
I have been around welders and pipefitters for many years and the welds are nice.
Too freekin hot today, 116 or something like that, tomorrow morning when it is only 93 I will start fitting it.

    Thanks Eric!!!

I wanted to try these lights but the holes that were drilled on your old bumper doesn't give enough depth. :( They were even cheaper at my local store.

did you have a writeup for how you converted the hellas to HID?

Any 4" fog light should fit. I make the mounts pretty adjustable
Those look like they're nice and shallow so they should work. :)
Thanks Steve! Have you started yet?
There is a writeup by another member on the site that you can refer to, or I can guide you through the process as well if you cant find it.

Started at 0600 to get a jump on the heat.
Not bad this morning with abit of cloud cover and of course some humidity.

Sorry again about the wife taking the camera but I will get some when it goes on after coating it.

Pretty smooth taking all the stock stuff off, I like the grill mounting , well done Toyota. Little massaging on the holes to line up with the factory 6 studs.
Got it mounted and fit is good, perhaps a little shimming here and there to get it set but no big deal.

Bailed out about 2:30 getting a bit warm and I will get back on it tomorrow adjust a few things and pull it off to get it set for the coating guys.

I was told by my buddy that recomended this place that they can match factory color code.
I hope so, I think Super White would make it blend in well.
EDIT: Yeah It can be painted after coating but the paint is not holding up well my coating guy told me so black it is!!
Thanks again Eric it is an awesome bumper.

How much more would stainless steel add to the price vs your current steel?

Great to hear the install is going well and you like the bumper steve! :)

I'm not sure, but probably by quite a bit. I'd say it would be several hundred dollars more just because stainless costs so much more and I would have to order a whole sheet of it when a bumper takes just over 1/2 a sheet.

Oh man...I gotta see pics of that bumper color-matched white! Now, I, can't wait to see your pics. I've been on the fence about dropping the dough on one of these bumpers for almost a month now.

Still waiting to see how the "TRD skid" turns out too!

Well at some point I am going to get one of your bumpers... its got the best looks of any bumper out IMO, just had memories of a custom CJ bumper I had that rusted at the drop of a hat... how is yours holding up? Id be repainting mine once a year anyway.

Sweet finally highlighted in blue!!! I noticed some asking about light tabs up front. Guess I should have asked this all ready is there some where to mount lights on the bumper. Or is it as simple as drilling a few holes? Also pm me when it is ready and final payment is as good as sent.
