I didn't time how long it took us, but it was QUICK from start to finish. Very easy, too!

I've only found three real problems:

    1. You can't go through car washes anymore. The bumper has an amazing amount of clearance, which leaves too much of the front of your wheel exposed for car wash brushes. The brushes have the potential for ripping your wheel sideways, so the car wash won't let you go. Solution: Quit being a fatass and wash it by hand.

    2. You get a lot of attention from strangers who want to stare and ask questions

    3. Everyone starts giving you the "holy shit!" face (see #1 and #2 above)

Actually, I was curious as well and it took us right about an hour from start to finish, Mike. And from this point, it can be taken off, or put back on in like 5 minutes.

Well, I've had my Hella's that are on top of the bumper wired to the fog circuit, but I will be changing them to an auxiliary switch and then wiring in the new fogs to the factory circuit when I install them. The circuit should be able to handle the aftermarket fogs just fine. My Hella's are 100W and I havent had any issues. :)

I just talked with a guy and you might want to be careful, the stock wiring was supposedly only designed to handle 35W.

Yeah, I think its actually something random like 40W IIRC, but its been fine with my lights so far. Most aftermarket ones are only 55w, so thats why I'm going to wire my smaller fogs into that circuit and give the Hella's their own new one that can handle the wattage/current.

I heard a guy, that had some problem after he installed new fog lights using the OEM harness. Hopefully is someting rare.

Glad to see the new pics to help with the install.
I was hoping this would be posted to give me a heads up on a few tricks on the install.

If the loop is holding up the build on mine I can get it without one, no big deal either way.
    Looking forward to it!!!

    Thanks for the install info,
    Keep up the good work.

Alright, here are some (crappy) pics of the bumper with the center tube for those that inquired. My camera is dead at the moment but I'll charge it and get some better pics later, hopefully with my lights mounted under it.

Can yow mount lights to the hoop? It'd be nice to see someones loaded up with lower fogs and some in the hoop too. I'm really diggin your bumper but cant put any more money into my truck until the 3rd gens come out.

I really don't think you'd want to mount lights ON the hoop because that would really block your vision.

I prefer to mount the lights directly to the top plate on the bumper, but I could add some mounting tabs on request.

I'll have both sets of lights mounted on mine real soon, so you'll get to see it shorty.

Yeah, exactly- the tabs would be off the bottom of the tube so the lights hang upside down off it. :)
