your truck is looking HELLA sick!!!

i have a couple of questions reallly quick...are you planning on paiting the front bumper now that you painted your rear black so that they match or no?

how the ride quaility now that you have a inch-inch and a half spacer up front as compared to no spacer (since im getting an OME setup after Jan..)

And finally how much would you charger to make me a set of those killer diamond plate things that are on the top of the side walls of your bed? i wanna get some of those and get ride of the plastic ones that are there cause any sharp metal shit just cuts into it and gets stuck and shit and i cant find anywhere that sells those diamond plate ones like you made...

Yeah, painting the front black is on my agenda, just got to run a few final welds on the bumper and sand smooth for the paint. I just got the side wraps for my AllPro rear yesterday, so now I need to paint those and install as well.... but 11* temps arent going to allow me to paint at the moment. :(
The ride quality isnt quite as good. It did get noticeably stiffer, but thats ok when I have the winch on. Eventually im going to get a set of SAW 2.5 Coilovers anyways so the spacers are semi-temporary.
I'll have to think about the cost of the bed rail caps and get back to ya....

Here are some crappy cell phone pics I took while building the receiver hitch, i'll take better ones soon. Its like 95% done, but my roommate Tim took his welder home for winter break and I wont be able to fully finish it until I go up there to visit and go 'wheelin with him at Browns Camp in the TSF in a few weeks. I used it to tow a trailer with 2 quads 1 1/2hrs to the dunes the day after thanksgiving and it worked flawless.

Let me first say, A big thanks for the compliment!

But, I gotta break it to ya.... I pulled the headache rack off for winter a couple weeks ago, and in the near future my front bumper will have some lights recessed into it and then im going to paint it black to match my new AllPro rear bumper...:cool:

OO No, those are the 2 things i liked the best about it and the rims, please tell me those are not going too. hahaha

I like the lights in the bumper, but i just liked the bare metal of your bumper, and the sharp points those look pretty bad ass too.:)

lol. The headache rack will find its way back on in the spring/summer when i'll be using it for work.
well, the wheels may change too. I'll probably be powder coating them black at the very least, but I've also thought about dropping down to a 16" wheel so there's more tire sidewall for offroading in which case I'd get entirely new wheels. ;)

Great looking truck. Couple of questions if you don't mind...

Does your spare fit up there with the new receiver in place? Do you need to remove the spare to tow?

    Thanks

havent tried fitting the factory spare back in place, but I dont think it would fit. I could possibly reposition the hitch to make it work though. I dont really care if the spare fits... my tires are oversized and I dont really want to try and stuff a larger spare down there anyways.

Thats my friend Tim's truck. I gave him a hand with it, but he built the bumper mostly himself after seeing mine for a while and deciding that he had to have one as well. We are still trying to get all the fab equipment purchased and set up in our garage so we can start building bumpers, rock sliders, skids, etc for some extra money while were in college... Should be up and running pretty soon....

So after all your different lift components, what is your total lift front and rear? I was afraid that my 265/70/17s would look to small if I did 5100s upfront at 2.5" and a 2" AAL in the rear. But it seems like your truck is higher than that and those tires don't look too small at all... at least not to me.

Im at 2.75" rear and about 3.25" in the front. My 255's are just slightly taller and narrower than 265/70/17's. With my old spacer setup I had 265's, looks okay to me. Im gonna go bigger with my next set... probably 295/70's (33.5") or 305/70's (34") , or maaaybe 315/70's (just shy of 35").

So why did you take the headache rack off? When are you getting the 886's on there?

Will the 255/75/17s fit without rubbing on the stock 17 inch wheels with a 2.5" lift up front? I know my 265/70/17s fit fine... even with no lift at all.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
