    Aloha Gang,

I am going to pick up my new 2008 Offroad Rugged Trails Dcab -in....4 hours. Yes, I am counting the hours. This is better than Christmas...remember the day you were going to go and drive away with your new Taco. Needless to say this is going to be a good day.

My Taco did not come with the tow package, any suggestions there? Also, what should be my first mod?? Not interested in lifting - just enhancement or power. Any suggestions welcome - also what site to use for internet aftermarket parts?

Yeah -I got my truck - so first thing I did was take it to get paint sealant and an under coating put on - even in Hawaii. So, regardin the air filter...

Remove it? or replace it?? Also, I here a lot about replacement KN filters and the like - anything to that???

    thanks for the reply!!!

i would remove the secondary air filter(a charcoal emissions filter in the air box), and then i'd replace the stock filter with an afe pro dry s non oiled air filter. good improvement, and your mileage will increase a bit.

Tommorow I will get a couple pics. Looking forward to simply enjoying it for a while, then perhaps the tinkering will commence!
