I have remote keys for the Tacoma that use.
    FCC: BAB237131-056

Looking for someone to test key out in the San Francisco Bay area.
Come to my shop and I'll give you key, cut and program it for free.
Key will be identical to my remote key in video below.

Subbed. Too far away to be a tester, but very interested to get one of these once they're available.

Firmware should be working again. Nightstr... Still interested?

Don't know if you want to drive an hours for something that might work.

It's for the FCC remote in title listing. Was having issue with it but seems to be working now. Need a Guinea pig. Lol

I'm still interested. I drive down all the time so the drive isn't a big deal. Let me know what day works best for you.

Im available all day Wednesday and Thursday. Let me know when you want to pick it up. Seems like not that many people interested in this frequency...Might have to use all hardware for the newer tacomas

I've been wanting to design a 3D printed housing to fit a modified key in with the current Toyota electronics, but this would be way easier.

I am in Oakland. PM me if I'm close enough to help out. Factory 2003 Toyota keyless (without the glass breakage sensor currently).

I will double check my FCC ID when I get home.

What about those of us that live elsewhere, is this something you can sell preprogrammed so we can have the key cut, or will it be available as a diy kit?

The FCC listed above is written onto the circuit board of my key. All you do is cut key at a locksmith and program remote portion as it was a regular remote/fob. That simple.

Do you have the actual Toyota part number for the fob? I am willing to buy one to try on my 04 Double Cab.

You must already have keyless entry and the back of your current remote must say BAB237131-056 on the back.

Most 1st gen tacomas do NOT have keyless entry.
