I have a Fortin evo one in my 17 with the H-Key, required some wiring. I think only the push to starts have completely plug and play.

I got this one too. It's super easy to install, works great, and I can pull it out without leaving a trace if I ever need to. I had one question during the install. I posted it to his website expecting a reply in a day or so. My phone was ringing in about 10 minutes with a personal call to help me out. Amazing customer service!

That's the best situation. Install and if you have to remove it for warranty work you can do so without leaving a trace that it was ever there.

Pretty much what I figured, and really the only remote start id want to add, starting my truck twice every time I use remote start is kind of a waste...
Dang push to start is making it more difficult than adding modules(like the DEIs) like almost any other manufacturer with a standard key.

well, jumping in your truck at -40 below and having your truck turn off is not okay. wastes gas turning it back on. and 15 minutes isnt enough to thoroughly warm up, up here in Ak.

My wife has the Toyota remote on her 2015 Camry. The car will run for 10 min and if you press the remote start button again after 10 min it will add 10 more minutes of run time. I live in a very cold part of Canada and see -40 for a couple of weeks in January and the car warms up fine. The Toyota remote starter cost more than most aftermarket but it has the same warranty as the rest of the car and it is built better than a cheap aftermarket starter. If you have to bring the car in for warranty there isn't going to be a hassle about an aftermarket remote installed. Toyota's technical assistance gets quit a few calls from their technicians about issues that turn out to be aftermarket starter related. They now asks their technicians if the vehicle has a aftermarket remote starter. If you says yes they ask you to remove it and call back when it out and the vehicle is returned to stock. If you have sliced into with the data line this can mean installing a new harness. If you decide on an aftermarket starter you better make sure it can be removed without a trace of the starter ever being there.

Those 12volt kits look like the way to go. I’ll definitely be picking one up for my new TRDOR.

Any chance you could point me to where to find info on hooking this up in a manual transmission? Their website confirms it can be done (obviously; you did it), but their instructions only show an automatic.
