I’m looking at putting Remote start on my 2016 TRD Sport. I’ve been looking on line an also this forum and have seen a few plug and play kits. Could I get some feedback on the following kits...
    12 Volt Solutions
    Audio Solutions
    MPC
    Thanks in advance

I purchased an Audio Solutions unit, with cell module, a little over a month ago. Best mod I have done to date.

Great customer service, quick shipping, and very easy install.

I put jmeitz (Audio solutions) 3x push to starr kit in a few weeks ago. Took all of maybe 15mins in a parking lot.

@jmeitz put 1 of his kits in my truck, wife's car and two friends vehicles. I'd let him get you some info on it. Very thorough and knowledgeable dude. Can't beat his deals either.

All the kits still turn the ignition off when you open the door correct?

If you have the manual with regular key, I believe the truck stays on and you insert the key in and drive. If you have the keyless fob, yes it shuts off

Mods: Is this still a Tacoma?
Thanks for the praise guys! Yes I do have them in stock. The phone app modules for orders that come in today are a week out, but everything else IS in stock. Man I’m going to have to start paying some of these guys promoting me, N2 Designs and my products real soon!

As far as door turning off, that’s only the keyless/smart FOB. HKEY Auto and HKEY MT both have the key take over feature that allows you to get into anremote atatted car and insert the key and drive off as if the key did it. The key becomes in charge then. The vehicle is locked after a remote start so you would have to unlock it to get in and do this. Here is my thread of you want to read up. I’m am also currently the only one with a plug n play solution for 3rd gen Tacoma’s in the nation, world at that for the rest reading this with an MT.

    Here is my shop:

Currently re doing the website so adding all the cars back in so if you have different makes or models, there’s a good chance I’ve got it, just ask!

App Store - CL6 or MyCar, same thing ao it doesn’t matter. They’re identical.

I do believe thier instructions say CL6, did you not get it with the package or are you just getting ready ahead of the delivery? Anyways, enjoy. You could always ask folks on here for help, night get a quicker response. Sucks when companies are too busy to respond to the very people that are THE REASON they even exist in the first place. I’ll be happy to answer questions if you have any even if you didn’t buy from me. I used to have a working business relationship with them until I decided I don’t want to be too busy to help people after giving me thier hard earned cash. To me a transaction isn’t over when the register cash till closes, its over when your customer can use what they have and are content enough to not need me any longer. Service is everything nowadays. That’s the secret, not always product prices or market distinguisment.

Anyways, let me know if you need help because that’s the point of a forum. However, outside of a forum, I would NOT be doing any tech support for a competitor, did it once and I don’t have that type of time.
