Yeah the radio settings. Although I just tried messing with those and couldn’t get mine to not work, so who knows.

When you do the third lock press and hold, do your parking lights start flashing after about four seconds of holding the button on the fob?

You could leave the window open and jump in.

I just wish it would stay running longer than 10 minutes. My wife’s car is 20, and that’s perfect.

Not that I recall from my attempts. It just locks a few times. I’ll try again after work and see if they flash.

I wonder if you could trick the door switch to not know when your opening the door??? Problem solved.

Go remote start your truck from inside of it and then try to drive it and tell me how that goes

Just a thought too - how far away were you when you tried to get it to remote start? I have trouble making it remote start if I’m within the range where the key fob enables the door handle sensors to work

Thanks for the tips! I tried starting it from inside the house, so a little ways away. I could try turning off the RF signal and then try it I suppose.

I messed with it again on my way out to the parking lot and could get nothing from it. When I clicked the remote the lights flashed twice, but nothing on the third click/hold/release.

That was either a 2020 or 2021 change for Subarus. My wife has a 2019 and I also had a 2017 Outback and both shut off when you open the door.
