Remote start - how to get in without shutting off engine?

...we've had this for a good minute but wanted to ensure that we're doing it the safe and right way so our original way from 4 years ago was ultimately scrapped as we weren't comfortable that it would be fail safe for any and all given scenarios not to mention, it was slightly complicated. We have had the video of it (with a smart module in that video) on our YouTube channel since 2019 demonstrating that we know what we're doing - but due to liability from a software standpoint on takeover, we didn't want to awaken the big monster; Toyota Corp.

Can't wait! I saw someone else on here had one but figured you would come up with something. I was waiting on you to get something out and I'm glad I waited. Remember my neighbor who was trying to re work the system, well it cost him big time as that truck had so many issues after he screwed with it. I will call you soon.

As of now, we're likely looking somewhere towards end of June for the release on our website...

The vehicle shutting off on door open is a PTS issue. Any auto start should stay running if you have a keyed ignition…

The one I posted is PTS that doesn't shut off. I guess N2 is coming out with one too. They finally cracked the code.

Mine Stays on when I open the door, don't know how to say that any clearer. The only way it dies is if I put my foot on the break before inserting and turning my key. Part of the jnstall includes steps to splice tpms wiring into the remote start module.

Yes, you have a key. The PTS (Push to Start) are the ones that, up until recently, would shut off when you opened the door.

I was thinking the same thing, if you can make the door sensor stay pressed in would it stay on? If you remote start with the door open and holding the door sensor in will it start and stay on until you release it?

I spoke with a guy yesterday and he said in about 2 or 3 weeks. Never understood the difficulty with the truck shutting off when you get in though. I've had mine for a couple years and it doesn't bother me at all.
