Actually, I think there is a way to override this. It’s not a very practical solution but if it really bothers someone that much, it may work for them. The button that pops out when you open the door, you can tape it or something so it doesn’t pop which will trick the truck into thinking that the door was never opened. And once you’re inside, with the key fob, you’re good to go (after shutting the door of course). I haven’t tried it but if someone does, let me know if it worked. Lol. You might need to do it for all the doors but try with just the driver door first. Good luck!

Nope. Won’t work. Soon as you hit the brakes it shuts off on push to start.
