Agreed, my 2022 is scratched all to hell. No other vehicle I’ve owned was like that. Toyota knows it’s piss poor quality, but they aren’t going to own it. Some things on vehicles is poor engineering like the gear hunting POS tranny. But the plastic instrument cover is just poor quality control. Oh well, every vehicle has its down falls.

For those of you that replaced the cluster cover with another OEM does it scratch less or more than the other. Also for those that found a better aftermarket replacement how does it hold out to scratches. I just don't want to go through the BS of replacing it with something that scratches. What do most of you guys use for cleaning that does not scratch.

The Screen ProTech does wonders. I’d give that a consideration. I’ve had mine since day one. You can wipe as much as you want with no ill effects.

Here are 2 recent photos from within the last 2 weeks. First one is dirty. Second after cleaning. No scratches.

This is one task I'd like to complete.

I have not wiped the dust off but when I do, I don't want to put scratches on it.

Glad I came across this thread. I ended up using a microfiber on my cluster cover and scratched the ever living hell out of it. Looks easy enough to replace and I'd pay $20-$30 for a new one.

I looked at my gauges leaving the dealers parking lot and I swear it was scratched to crap before I got home!!! Replaced it with this protech sheeting and it looks freaking perfect still...1 year PLUS since putting it on!
