I am getting ready to install a new double din stereo that will require a lot of cables run all over. I have seen plenty of write ups on the front of the dash removal but was wondering if anyone has anything on the window pillars and the actual dash pad?

I cant think of any reason why you would have to remove the dash for a Double Din install??

What are you thinking of doing?

I was wondering the same thing you should be able to hook anything thing up without removing the entire dash. I guess your trying to put monitors in your visors just run the wires up under the dash and then up the A-pillars.

I have a GPS module that will need to go on top of the dash so I was thinking of notching the edge of the window side of the dash for a nice wire fitment and maybe hit the dash with some black vinyl dye while it is out. The pillars need to come out so I can run a video cable to the existing DVD player in the ceiling.

Im sure if you follow all the dash take apart instructions on that link you can figure it out. Window pillars are real easy.
