I've seen pics or trucks with and without mud flaps. Mine rub on the curb and speed bumps. Any suggestions.

Just trim them if they're rubbing. The windshields of the cars behind you will appreciate you leaving them on.

I think I'm leaving mine on. I live on dirt roads, and they do a really good job of keeping the sides of the truck clean. I figure that sometime I'll either rip them off on a rock or something, or the'll just look so bad I'll take the paint damage over the bad looks of the flaps!

Trimming them off a little may be a good idea.

Swap OEM for Husky if you want to keep mudflaps on the truck.

    Amazon sells them too....

They're shorter than OEM but more rigid. They have a slight curve so they match the contours of the truck nicely. And they are breeze to install using all factory holes.

I don't do serious off-roading...so I'm not at risk of them getting torn off.

I don't do any serious off roading either but I do go hunting and fishing and just driving around in the mountains around here and I have rubbed them on some washed out roads.

In 2002 I bought a new 4x4 GMC Tacoma. Always meant to put flaps on but did not. 10 years later all the dings and pits started a rust I was never able to fully remove or stop.

I Side with a previous post. Keep them on and trim a little if you must.

Not trying to be a smartass, but I never knew GMC built a truck named Tacoma. I'll google it for photos.

I took 2 inches off my front flaps. I used each of them as a curve pattern for the other and used tin snips.

After owning 4 Tacoma's, I've got a box full of mud flaps in my garage attic. On my current truck, I've took 'em off, then decided to cut 'em down by 4" and put 'em back on. I'm now debating taking them off for good. I can't stand the looks of them. All they need is the chrome silhouette of a naked woman and it would be 1954 all over again!
