The FSM says (as the last step for removal of the PCV valve): " Remove the PCV valve sub-assembly from the cylinder head
    cover sub-assembly LH."

I took "cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH" to mean the driver side valve cover (I can't imagine where else it would be located, the FSM I have doesn't have a clear diagram)... Guess I need to go look at mine.

Yeah it definitely looks like on the valve cover itself... There's a big chunk of foam rubber right there (sound deadener?) maybe that is what's throwing you off? The valve covers on this engine are all plastic.

Ok…feel like a dumb ass now, lol. Yep, back of valve cover.

Let us know what RM has to say about the PCV valve (is that a replacement valve spliced into the hose in the video?). Their web page pics don't show a spliced-in component, so I'd be curious what that is.

I will call them Monday. I really would like to add a catch can to this kit, but capping off the pvc valve just don’t sit right with me. Because a plugged pvc valve causes major problems.

Not a problem if a separate replacement one is included. Again, there should be free-air passage inside the valve cover from the back of the head where the valve is/was, to the front where the oil filler neck is.

Looks to me that the pcv valve is in the oil cap…from this pic:IMG_2375.png

I think that's just an AN fitting, but confirm with RM.

Their page is lacking info, but maybe there are some different options available? (page has on it: "-120 degree fitting and PCV capped option shown in pictures"), again I don' know.

Had to watch his Moab video afterward, Moab is still one of my "bucket list" destinations (can't help but comment at 11:06: "Needs moar lift"!! lol)
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPsCeaXshgk

So it sortof mentions what the thing spliced in the hose is... Does sounds like a valve of some sort.
Again you'll have to find out from RM for sure what it is.

I think you're failing to understand that the engine is not being left without any PCV at all with this kit, all this kit does is REROUTE it (the OEM valve might be capped off, but as long as another new valve is installed to take its place, then the system function is unchanged from before (other than when the oil pools at the back of the head while pointed uphill, you're no longer sucking it into your intake). Even if there was no new valve, the system is still not "plugged" (as was the demonstrated concern in that last vid), the engine simply just wouldn't have the protection against fuel vapors and other gasses entering the crank case during, say, a backfire event that a PCV one-way valve provides (how often does that happen on modern EFI engines anyway? It's not unheardof, but very rare).

Again, call RM, and see what they have to say. At this point, I really think you are overthinking this PCV valve (in it's worthless location) being capped off.

That Moab video was crazy awesome!
So concerning the sand dunes, I like to go to, will going up steep grades fast cause any oil issues? Here is an example:

This kit just relocates the out of the PCV from the intake into the valve cover. But does the system now only use crankcase pressure to remove the crankcase fumes? The reason its plumed into the intake is to allow them to be burned but also uses the vacuum in the intake to help extract them and draw in fresh air. Maybe I'm missing something here?
