I feel you. I tried on my last vehicle and was left with bad residue.

Residue comes off with goo gone perfectly. It's pouring out now or I'd post a pic

We have that as well as the stickers. Apparently 1 warning per visor isn't enough.

Are your visors a fabric like material?
I ask because there are a couple of different visors available. Mine are fabric with mirrors. Tried to peel off the sticker and it left residue so I stopped. Nervous about goo gone.

Don't do it if it's fabric. It can possibly tear some of the fabric and the texture under the sticker will not look right compared to the rest of the visor. You're best off leaving it alone.

I feel your pain. I was going to remove the Back Seat Driver warning on the front passenger seat and was like nope, not going to do it.

I just removed the visor stickers. I used a hair dryer to warm up the glue on the sticker , then slowly pulled them off. There was little glue left on,goo be gone took off with no issues. It really safe to use, been using it for some time and it never stains. Put some on a micro fiber towel and rub softly and you will be fine.

Which GooGone? Citrus based or the paint thinner smelling stronger stuff? Also what type of material are your visors made of? I believe some visors could be different depending on trim level...not positive though.

I used Goo Gone Citrus. I have black fabric and had no issues. Just work slowly.

Goo Gone Citrus is used in virtually every high end retail (and detail) outlet in the country to clean up glue residue from price stickers, etc before gift wrapping. Safe and effective. Hair dryer heat in advance on the sticker will minimize the amount of cleanup needed. All the 16 Tacomas I've seen have the same fragile looking fabric cover.
