I just bought a new bumper to replace the old one on my truck, anyone have any tips on getting that old bumper off? Or is it pretty straightforward? Anything would be helpful.

Me and my little brother took the one off of my '99 in about 5 minutes. It is very easy and straightforward.

I just got a stock one since I've got a brush guard on there anyway. I went with the black one rather than the gray one it came with. The old one was falling apart and had a bunch of cracks.

Turns out I have to have a service garage do it since the two screws on the lower half only turn in place when I try and remove them... definitely a pain to have to pay just to get this thing on there.

Let me know how yours goes... maybe you'll have better luck than I had with mine. Hopefully I can find a fix for those screws instead of taking it in.

turns out the screws on the bottom half are stripped or have all sorts of rust so I dunno how I'm gonna get this dang thing off
