"Here is a picture of the rear panel from the back so you can see the different clips and snaps:
    [/QUOTE]"

I removed the back panel and seats to install sound deadening material. I followed the OP's instructions and worked like a charm.
One thing though, the red clips on the back of the seat, even though I tried pulling carefully, I managed to break every single red clip.
The part number for those red clips is : 90467-09240 Make sure you tell the parts guy it is for a 2016 Tacoma. I could not find anywhere online. The same part number exists for a clip for a Prius...and it is not the same clip!

I emailed Jeff Lange about a month ago asking for the part number for the rear panel. He believes it is 64270-04140-C0.

Has anyone shown interest in purchasing your seats, belts, panels and related stuff? Reason I ask is I also have an Access Cab and plan to remove my seats and stuff. I'm curious if there is a market...

I want to remove just the headrests. Do I have to remove the entire back panel to get to those bolts or can a ratchet fit in there? Couldn't really tell from the pics and haven't gone out to take a look yet.

    Thanks

Thanks OP. This made it so much easier. Cover off and on, seats and headrests out, no broken clips.

Yup thanks! I was able to just remove the bolts, then just pop the top free. Reach in with a wrench, take off the headrests. Easy! Major improvement!! Those headrests are lame. We will hardly ever have anyone in back anyways.

I had the dealership take my headrests out before I gave him the check. Have them in a plastic tote storage box in case I trade my truck.
