Your seat looks a lot further back than I set mine.

I'm putting one of these in my access cab right now... I'm sure it's a long shot but do you remember where you put the long bolts they included vs the short bolts? I'm going to start trying each one to see if it fits lol. Just a basic set of instructions included would've been awesome :frusty:

For any other 3rd gen AC owners who get the goose gear seat delete... (with the utility back wall panel anyway, guess it may be different if you still have the seat back wall)!

For each seat delete side, there are three long bolts and washers, one is thicker and it goes in the outside corner kinda below where the seat belt is. The two long thinner ones use the two nuts that come in the kit and bolt into the holes that were used by the cargo cubby tray thing. The two shorter thicker bolts along the back wall toward the middle of the truck. It will make sense when you have the box sitting in place :) don't tighten it all down til the end to make sure it all aligns nicely.

Can you remove the rear seats without having to peel back the entire rear panel? I realize I need to peel back the panel for the headrests, but haven't found a definitive answer for just the seat portions.

    Absolutely you can.
I removed one seat and then decided to remove the headrest. Seat portion was easy. Headrest I had to remove one half of the back portion to access the bolts for the headrest.

Yes. I was able to remove my headrests by just pulling the top part of the rear wall panel loose. It’s a bit tight to get a wrench down in there. I dropped a bolt. But I was able to retrieve it with a mechanic’s magnet.

Thank you for the great write up. Gave me something to look forward to. I have the jump seats, and recently acquired the utility panel, and lids from a fleet taco. Even the little seat belt caps. I'd like a storage platform back there. I'll be selling the jump seats too if anyone is interested. Eastern PA.

    Thank you OP!

Another member and I loosely used this thread as a reference today to do a full swap between a 2021 SR and 2022 TRD off-road.

The only difference that we found between the two models was there were no angled car seat brackets in the SR. There are still brackets under the headrest and under the seat to attach a child seat, as well as the seatbelt that goes from the pillar to the floor.

I marked up one of the pics from the beginning of this thread to show what we did not find in the SR.

A pic from this weekends project.

    Stage 1 - seats removed

    2022, TRD OR

I have the utility panel and tray soaking in some 303 while I’m getting ready to sound deaden the rear wall and floor behind the seats.

My plan is to build a custom cab for the back that is lockable and lighted inside.

So, I did it. Removed the rear jump seats. I stalled the new lids, the seat belt slot covers and the back panel. I did break the small corners of the large rear panel dropping it on the corner and closing the door on one side. But I am super happy with it! Thanks for the inspiration. It wasn't bad if you are attentive. You only need a 10mm, 14mm and some flat pry tools. The carpet is missing parts and you see the body, you can also see outside the cabin through the bolt holes.
