So I bought a red truck and I am worried about the paint fading and oxidation. I had the "protection" sealer applied by the dealer and it looked good at first (sucker). Now a couple months later where the sealer or whatever product they used is showing itself on the handles and trim. It looks like a 3rd grader went nuts with the Turtle Wax! Any thoughts on how to clean this mess up? No offense to the 3rd grade set.

Try some all purpose cleaner (Simple Green) mixed with a bit of liquid dish soap. Both are semi-strong degreasers. I use a small soft brush or toothbrush if the wax is on textured black trim. Good luck.

If it's on the door handles and the trim that joins it I would get one of those Magic Erasers. I got a little wax on my gf's Trailblazer on the handles in a couple spots and got one of those and got it right off.

Sounds like your dealer just did a shitty job on your truck. IMO take it back and complain about it, I'm sure you dealer will take care of it, if not write Toyota and they will for sure take care of your problem.
