Hahaha, holy shit I was about to say the same thing. Top of mind since I just spent a couple days pulling in and out of there.

If anyone is interested, I’ll be selling my old 16x8 Pro Comp wheels, including the 265/75r16 Trail Graps that I had on (look like maybe 25-30% tread left at best?) and factory spare rim. Obviously would prefer local sale, and I can get some better pics when I get home if needed now that they’re off the truck and sitting in my bed lol

    $400 OBO takes the lot.

I was going to ask you if you could do something similar to that to the rear bed bar so I could support my tent since I was too stupid to realize that it was going to hang over the back as much as it does. lol.

They’re the same wheels, just sized up to a 17” instead. Plus I switched over to the Ridge Grapplers now

Thats some interesting shit. I def love brake upgrades. I def would love to do this same thing. only concern is the other oem brake parts supply enough power to the larger calipers. I swapped bigger oem brakes on my hondas and had to use all the larger parts (prop valve & booster) to power the larger calipers.

IMO I'd switch to 17's for the reason that 16's are kind of going away so both wheel choices and tire choices(and sizes) are going to be more difficult as time goes on. 17's are very popular right now so there are a lot of both wheel/tire choices available.

I said this exact thing in the SAS thread the other day! Kind of wish I got my pitbulls in 17s instead of 15s but oh well.

well I guess when my tires wear out I will have to go to a 17 inch wheel setup. I love my 255s but also sucks that if I needed an other I would have to wait. Two flats in one day would be big trouble for me. The size is not common. Sucks being different ahahaha.

This. The tire sizes in a good A/T tire are getting to be harder to find. Plus I really wanted to get Ridge Graps, since at this point in my life I can’t justify having a more dedicated M/T like the Trail Graps I had.
(Plus my truck is more of a mall crawler anyway lol)

If they meant 580S, that was me and I am fine except for a small cut on my wrist. Someone lost control behind me and basically pitted me just after I merged from E-S. It caused me to start skidding sideways then I hit a joint (I think) that caused me to roll onto my roof.
