just installed arb, ome 886's and lr uca's and want to have it aligned as close to good as can be. The plan is to run 255/85's so I dont think rubbing will be an issue to where I would need to consider adjusting the lca. but too up on alignments. imputs much appreciated!!

Okay. Set your ball joints at +2 so SPC facing directly out from the truck. Then pull your ball joints all the way out.

Then take it to him and tell him to get the caster reasonably high and camber 0 and toe 0.

edit: pretty much all the final adjustment is done with the LCA typically.

One next to internet auto sales or whatever, on kieztke north of plumb

Make sure to have JT do the alignment, I just call and ask, then when I go down there I ask to talk with him. Pretty cool guy, has a nice 1st gen.

Is he the older guy? I had my truck aligned there and they are great. I forgot to install a washer on my ucas and it looked like It had no nut on the bolt, he put one on and sent me off to fix it. Came back fixed he aligned it it about 15 mins and it was perfect.

It started out a trail run thread and like Robert said has morphed into our local thread.
You want to set up a trail run, BS, ask for advice or help, post pics of your latest mod or trail damage this is the place.

Nice Mike, can't wait to see it. Post some pics.
JT did mine. He was recommended by Josh and got me driving fine with stock UCAs on a 3" lift (not in specs on the caster but it drives great).

Well Chris & I went out exploring with a friend from work that has a '94 PreTaco on Sunday. Good trip with no damages. We went to check out the Nightingale mine & mill along with some other ones in the area. They were mining for tungsten in that area. We left the pavement just north of Nixon.

The tunnel led to this hole.

We came across what we thought was a mine entrance, but it was somebody's one room house. The part on top of the hill was the chimney.

And our last attempt to check out a mine site was foiled by a bolder in the middle of a narrow trail. It doesn't look like much in the picture but it was 3' tall and 4' wide. Look by the arrow in the lower right of the second picture.

After that we got on the wrong trail a couple of times trying to find Wild Ass Road (yes that's the name of it). We eventually found it and took it back to Hwy 447 just north of the dry lake east of Pyramid.
We had a great time, thanks for joining us Steve. Looking forward to our next trip.
