Can anyone tell me what to use to repair the paint/coating on the factory roof rack cross bars?

I went on a long road trip and wore a few spots of the cross bars down to the metal.

    Thanks!

I would try SEM Trim Paint, it is excellent for matching Black Trim on vehicles.

Or just get a touch up paint bottle. It's probably gonna get beat up in the coming years anyway

Should probably go to Lowes and get some pipe insulation to put on for trips.

Texture black spray paint is a perfect match for the bed header rail, so It should match that too.

I would see if your local Line-X shop can blast them for cheap. It would be nothing to throw them in the booth when they do a truck and will hold up much longer!

I used Rustoleum bed liner on my bumper caps and matched the texture of the middle plastic bumper section perfect. Should hold up pretty well and its cheap.
