So I recently got a darn nail in my tire. I demounted it and mounted my spare on since it was the same tread pattern. My question is should I patch the old tire and use it as a spare? aa5c398e36f72799e76d2731b3dd3b1b_a8b29c6dea352c73cfb5cb3ee94622fdfaa636fc.jpg41b3946d4b1dde6a1e7d812495fefc63_a5c6f9741def44270aebd9b74597f717a3e6e651.jpg

You probably can't patch it because it's too close to the sidewall.

You can get a plug kit...and plug it. Nothing wrong with a plugged tire when it's done right.

My last set of tires had at least 1 plug in 2 tires for years.
