I tried searching but nothing came up that I could use. My driver seat foam is broken down on the bottom and back along the edge near the door. I got a set of CoverKing seat covers for Christmas last year and they looked great and helped cushion the seat. However, after less than 4 months due to the foam being down to the metal, it was starting to rub a hole in the new seat covers. Got them fixed thru warranty, but don't want to reinstall until I can fix the seat so it won't rub thru again.

Ive tried searching for new foam, direct foam replacement pieces, etc and haven't been able to find anything yet. Can anyone point me in the right direction or give suggestions as to how I might fix the seat? Don't really care what it looks like since it will be covered anyway. I have thought about getting a 'new' seat but would rather fix mine.

So i had a pretty big hole on my drivers side seat where you slide in and out of the truck. I just went to a arts and craft store (Michaels) and they sell all different styles of foam there and that's what I went with. Cost me $8 bucks for a big piece. I cleaned up the ragged foam in the seat hole with a razor knife and cut a piece to fit snug in there and used spray can adhesive to keep it where I wanted it. Then just re-installed my seat covers. Has worked great so far for about the past year.

Haha, it may not be the most professional fix but it's works just fine for me and like you stated it's under a seat cover anyway.

Hey OP, did you ever fix your seat? The upholstery on the left side of my driver's side was wearing through (and the vinyl was all cracked around the bottom) from the slide-out-and-down exit method so I just switched the seat bottom between the driver and passenger side for a temp fix. I'm currently looking at the different neoprene cover options though. The OEM replacement items are obscenely overpriced.

I had my seats fixed by a auto upholstery shop .

Just right now I can`t recall if it was expensive

Because I did not care if the colors matched it was not that bad

Not yet things have been insane this fall around here for me. However, I do have some seat foam on order as of this past Monday and I hope to tackle this project soon. I have seat covers to put back on so I'm not too worried about it looking 100% professional lol
