I've owned my 09 since June, TRD sport.

I live in MN and as I was driving home through the blizzard today in 4WD, all of a sudden this loud repetitive clunking started.

It happens in 4WD and 2WD. I've switched back and forth 50 thousand times since it started.

It also feels like the engine is under a massive load like I'm towing a few school buses (auto tranny).

    Any ideas, solutions, or advice??

    Thanks, fellas.

I should mention, it's coming from the middle of the truck from what I can tell -- underneath.

Check the drive shaft, something may have gotten caught on it. Also while you are down there check to make sure there are no loose parts on your drive train. ;)
