I think most of us are in agreance that the factory clock is useless. But has anybody modded it to something else? Maybe a switch plate, photo holder, CB mount for a Cobra unit, winch control plate..... Any write ups out there?

Yes, the OEM clock location has been 'reused' for all those things (except the photo holder), as well as mobile device mounts and gauges.

That was probably the single most annoying thing about my 1st gen. Shifting my head to see the time was annoying, distracting and dangerous.

I never thought to use that spot for something else. I would love to see pictures of modifications in that area.

This is my 1st vehical in 12 years without an outside temp gauge. That's what I'd like to install. I really miss having one too.

I want to find a 1'' or 2'' tachometer to fit in there.

Does anyone have a pic of the clock out of the dash? It's time again for brainstorming cheap mod ideas to keep me out of trouble.
