I read in another post that Toyota offers an entire rubber floor replacement for the carpet option.

I'm interested in such a thing for my '15 DCSB, but all I can find in my searches are rubber floor mats. I don't want mats, I want the entire interior floor.

Any insight on proper direction would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

Rock auto lists a vinyl floor for a 13 Double cab. It's about $115.00

    Ask and you shall receive...

Heres a thread w/ part numbers. i know it says access cab, but in the first post theres one for double cab automatic transmission. If you are a rare case of one with a double cab manual transmission, youll have to contact someone at toyota to get the right part number (this is the only one i dont have yet in that thread). I used @gunny1005 at camelback toyota to get mine. Great experience w/ customer service and shipped to me quick. Competitive pricing as well

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/all-weather-flooring-for-access-cab-part-number.443444/

Let me know if you have any questions

Edited to add, just for reference, depending on your configuration, the pricing should be anywhere from 385-415 bucks shipped.

FYI...if you check with your local Toyota dealership parts Dept they will tell you it shows as carpet in their inventory system and that it doesn’t fit your truck and they’ll say you have to pay up front and no refunds.

My child recently vomited in my truck and I can’t get the smell out and I’m about to pull the trigger on this myself.

Mine did also. The smell is gone, but out stained the carpet. I used carpet cleaner, which also seems to have stained the carpet. It also looks like it's getting moldy.

Thanks for posting this! I was just shopping vinyl replacements. Had no idea Toyota sold full rubber liners. Unfortunately I have the double cab manual so guess I'll be giving them a call.

Youre welcome! Yeah either give them a call or PM gunny on here. Once you get a confirmation of a part number please post it in here or in that thread i posted so i can update it with the manual trans double cab option so we can help others in the future. Id be lying if i said i havent considered getting it for my double cab 6spd, just gonna be a few months before i can swing it. Definitely a great upgrade over the carpet though!

The parts dude just told me 58510-04330-B0, but it is $600. That doesn't sound right compared to the other prices I've seen. $380'ish is what I'm seeing for all the others.

EDIT: Sorry, put the wrong part number in. Fixed it. Just looked up the PN he gave me and it shows discontinued for a 97-99 Tacoma.

@rjbiii, did the wrinkles/puckers that seem to be in the vertical pieces, like the trans tunnel and rear storage, become smoother with a bit of time and or warming up?

While you had everything gutted, did you use that opportunity to do any other mods, like wiring for any accessories, sound deadening, etc?

Is the material thick enough to be nicely durable?

More pliable (rubber like?) than rigid?

Does it have the jute backing on it like the carpet? IE you submerge it and it's still going to have to be pulled to dry right?

I know its something I should do, but since I've not been able to find one 'in the wild' to examine.............

    TIA!

Since I have a '15, I have those stupid wingnut things that lock my floor mats.

Can I assume this replacement vinyl will have the holes for this wingnuts, or should I plan to cut new holes for them? To be clear, even with this vinyl floor option, I would still run my floor mats on top.

Why? That's why you go to these mats, to ditch the carpet and the floormats.

Did you call up to a dealership? Or did you talk to the person i mentioned? When i was looking for this using a part number i already had, everyone was asking for 150 for shipping plus the 430 for the part. It was ridiculous.. if youre talking to the stealership, id say theyre trying to rob you..

This flooring comes standard on the TRD Baja models. Auto and manual should both work in a pinch. Any small stuff that needs to be cut would be hidden by the center console stuff anyway.

@rjbiii how was the sound/noise level beforeand after?

Ditch the carpet, yes, but why the floor mats? They are still convenient for catching and then easily dumping/removing the bulk of the sand, mud, and water.

Just because your kitchen floor has tile or vinyl doesn't mean the doors shouldn't get floor mats . . . .

Heres a pic i just took of the trans tunnel area today. It doesnt look like its smoothing out much, but im sure it will over time. This is mainly from it being rolled up like a map during shipping.

I didnt do any wiring mods while i had everything gutted out, but i did clean up some of the brackets in the photos and painted them black because they were rusting due to a couple of plugs getting popped out (up into the interior) while i was changing my u joints, so that was letting moisture in. If one was going to do some sound deadening, while youve got it all gutted out is definitely the time to take advantage of that and sound proof up the cab. I didnt do this mainly because i couldnt really afford to buy all the materials and i wanted to get my truck up usable again asap. I had a leak somewhere in either the windshield or on the top of the cab and that was causing my carpet to mold, so i didnt really plan on replacing the flooring at the time, which is why i was kind of short on funds whenever it happened.

The bottom parts of the matt where your feet go are thicker than the vertical areas like the trans tunnel, and the area that goes up around the under the rear seat toolboxes. Definitely thick enough all around to be durable for the long term. Also its kind of a vinyl material as far as pliability goes. Not as pliable as rubber, but not as stiff as plastic if that makes sense.

Yes it has the same jute sound deadening material that the carpet has on the bottom of it so it would have to be pulled out and dried out if you submerged it.

Let me know if you have any questions, im more than happy to help out and try to answer them
