    Hi,

I recently purchased a 2012 and after getting home I noticed the right tail light has condensation in it. While I'll probably try and seal it first, I'm thinking to just replace the tail light since there is discoloration in the reverse light area of the lens from the condesation.

    Two questions:

Since it seems to be a challenge finding a used OEM tail light, do the aftermarket direct replacement tail lights look the same? Or is there a slight difference in appearance?

If there is a slight difference in appearance, is it worth replacing both tail lights? Are the non-OEM tail lights from ebay and Amazon worth it?

    Thanks in advance.

Most likely all aftermarket parts will look somewhat different than oe. After market would probably be a cheaper solution, and most likely are only sold in pairs.

I have black depot led factorystyle taillights, I've read on here that they will most likely fail overtime, I think I got them off the Wal-Mart website for $130 I have the incandescent red taillights and are keeping them, so I can't help you with the replacement you need.

Sounds like we think alike. I have my factory tails stored (just in case).

Go to www.rockauto.com Was able to buy a complete new assembly for $120.00. RockAuto gives you choices and info into each. Most cases you can get factory components. All Mfg's outsource the building of components.
