The Stock USB port in the center console of my 2015 Tacoma seems to be have issues and I cannot run Carplay through it anymore. Is there an aftermarket USB passthrough that matches the knockouts for the center console?

I don't need extra usb ports or anything like that.....just a USB pass through.

Yes....I spent some time looking about and the best I was able to find was this kit on crutchfield...but the reviews are not great.

Have you guys run across anything else?

Im really looking to eliminate the other connections and just have a straight USB pass through.

Thinking I may just put a blank there and modify that.

I have another knockout that’s used just for charging. It has 2 USB slots in it that popped right in. I’ll have to see if I can find the package as I forget where I ordered it from. It’s not tied to the radio for CarPlay so it may not of be any use for your needs

I looked at the one on Amazon. I know its being picky but I really want just USB.

Just for kicks and giggles I went by the dealer to ask about the OEM replacement. 74$!!! The problem is I don't know if its the plug or the wiring that is the problem. I would just rather circumvent it all.

The one i used is just USB from the Ebay link and its the same as the dealer for $40 i believe. Not really sure how else to help but you should have several options that will work

This is the one I am using in my 2009. It works fine and fits with none of the adapter bezels installed.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a knockout that I can modify that fits well?
It is the OEM piece....but I am also suspect of the wiring behind it. And I really dont want to replace the wiring. I need to find the correct knock out and mod that.
