That amp isn't going to push much power to a real sub...

Get you one of these: https://catalog.pac-audio.com/catalog/amplifier-integration-harness/aph-ty01

There is a wiring doagram somewhere on this site. I'll see if I can find it.

Also, since posting my reply about having to keep the amp, rockford fosgate came out with the dsr1. It will allow you to remove the amp and add aftermarket amps to the jbl system.

You will also need the harness: https://www.crutchfield.com/p_794HARTO3/iDatalink-HRN-AR-TO3-Harness.html

    this is great
I put a dasaita HU with infinity kappa’s on the doors
An wanted to keep the stock wires that go to the amp.
From the amp I’ll run thicker wire to the speakers and sub

There is nothing that is plug and play. You'll have to cut the sub wires and attach them to the new sub. I have a rockford fosgate P3SD4-8 that will fit right into the oem sub box that I am selling.

Just swapped out the factory JBL subwoofer and all speakers on my 2021 Sport.
I replaced the subwoofer with a Pioneer 8 inch model TSA200LD2 and Metra wire harness 72-9300 to make it plug and play.
Its an improvement from the factory JBL..All on Amazon..

Even though Metra 72-9300 is for nissan and mazda will this still be the right harness to make it plug and play?

What did you replace the door speakers with? Also, using the stock amp for the sub?

Hey RebleAZ, Tweeters, JBL Club 322F; Front Door, JBL Club 9632; Rear Door, JBL Club 622. Did not change the stock amp, too much trouble for me.

How would you describe the improvement. Deeper bass or punchier bass? Im wondering how well the OEM box is sealed up, did you add any deadener to the box to stiffen it up some?

I always say sound is subjective. To my ears, not a dramatic improvement but definitely deeper than the stock. I added deadener to the box frame and in all four doors when I changed those speakers. Definitely better sound from those with the low ohm new JBLs.

Understandable. I'll be adding an amp to run the doors and sub so im sure that will increase my volume and bass response. i did deaden the doors as you can see in my 2010 Audio thread too

This may be a dumb question, but are there any adjustments that can be made to the JBL amp? Like upping the output to the sub?

Not without replacing the sub and adding an amp.

Guys — I’m getting a 22 premium — how much better are the JBLs from the non-JBLs in terms of sound quality? The base speakers suck ass. I heard the JBLs are meh, but aren’t they a lot better?

My brother-in-law has the JBL system in his ‘21. Better than stock, yes. Worth the ‘investment’ to get it stock? Nope. In Canada, the JBL is a $3500 add on. For less than that, my system is easily 10x better, all aftermarket.

I hear you. I’m getting the premium anyway so just curious how decent the JBL is.
