Has anyone replaced their premium head unit with XM, with an aftermarket unit and transferred the XM to the new unit? I really want to use Apple CarPlay but don't want to spend in excess of $1500 for a factor head unit capable of Entune 3.0 and I've found several units - Alpine, Sony, Kenwood, etc. that are XM ready but require a radio. Can I install an aftermarket head unit and use the same XM radio equipped with the factory head unit? Thanks!

It looks like I haven't updated my profile - I actually own a 2017 TRD Sport now, same color.
