With Mike's help, I got it to work. Slowing pushing the key fob buttons and holding down the second push until hearing the beep was it.

    Thanks Mike!!

Threads like this are the reason I am glad to be a part of the forum.
I'm sure the dealership would charge an unreasonably high amount for this simple mod.
    Well done sir!

Does it matter what button on the fob you hit, lock or unlock?

    Thanks,

either one but it has to be the same one for the 2 pushes.
The lock button seems easier to use.

    Thank you.

If a customer comes in for a service most of the time i don't charge anything for customizing. It's my way of thanking them for allowing me the privilege of servicing their vehicle.

Is there a way to reprogram the key fob so that only one push opens both front and back doors ? Currently you have to press Open 2 times quickly, and its pretty frustrating when you think the back doors have been unlocked.

    hello,
if i understand correctly you want to control VSC, an easy way to do that is to get a truck with real hardware lockers instead of the break controlled limited slip system like a 2005 model :)

FYI- unless you have a 2005 or 2006 you are SOL for locking diff;s

    hope that helps :)

    cheers,
    disco
