i don't know of a better place to post this.

We have a single vehicle with a family in it stuck northeast of Barstow.

In need of recovery.

I'm in Arizona coordinating while a friend tries to get ready to head there from San Diego.

It's 3 hours from SD. one of the OC guys would be able to do a recovery and get home before anyone from SD made it up.

Any additional info? What's the situation? Anyone hurt? Doesn't seem to far from the main road.

Bump up to the top for the night, let's get some help for ya. I don't know how many will be on this late but anything is better than letting this sit. Hopefully you're ok. Trust me, I wish I could help. You're not to far off the road, hopefully you get help soon.

EDIT: I can head out first thing in the morning if no one is able to assist tonight with the recovery.

How is he stuck? Any details on that?

No injuries, so everyone is safe at the moment.

San Diego guy is partway there.

 

I found two Facebook groups for SoCal off road recovery and sos, but they're both closed groups so I can't post.

If anyone here is already a member, can you post a link to this thread in the fb page?

Our SD guy's eta is about 4-4:30 am.

They were buried to the frame in mud. Bruce winched em out and they're back on track.

Good to know. I still think anything North of Pendleton is 20 minutes away from each other and is all branched under the same county. Needless to say I don't spend too much time up there.
