    Watch your feet.

I had this happen to me twice early on in my ownership (within the first month and 2200 miles) - first time was off for maybe 20 minutes, second time was closer to 40. I thought short stops might be to blame.

However, one thing I remember very distinctly the second (and last) time this happened is that my foot tapped the brake pedal as I was getting into the vehicle.

I have since been very careful about not touching the pedal until I'm ready to start the engine. I have not had this issue in over 2 months and 5500 miles of use.

Mine also happened after making a bunch of quick drives. Drove a couple minutes, then parked for 15-90 minutes. Did this probably 10 times and happened on one of the last times that day.

I believe that was also reset but can't say 100%. I bring it up from time to time and it seems there was less data the next time I looked after the reset happened than I had seen before.

I had this happen for the first time yesterday, I work at a hospital setting in different locations, parked my truck immediately outside the building from the MRI scanner. I thought maybe it was related to that and after a post was directed here. Will contact Toyota tomorrow when open again and I don't use the eco screen on the nav system only audio and the gps screen, on the center screen between the tach and speedo I keep it on tank avg MPG. Mine reset after a long drive about 65min.

....and reset #5 for me today. Seemed less like the day's Eco data was lost but not previous day's data.

I'll be reporting this tomorrow since I'll be at the dealer anyway for a rattling drive side window

My trip A meter has reset 3 times for no reason. The last time was yesterday morning. I'm going to make an appointment with the dealer and open a case with Toyota

Other than the main battery, do other systems have backup batteries more local to the system?

I finally had another reset - the vehicle sat for about 60 hours, took a long time (like 8-10 seconds instead of 1-2) for the "press the brake and start button" message to appear after pressing the brake pedal, and the trip meters were reset.

Looking at the ECO app, there was recent data.

Reset #6 for me this morning. Drove to the pool, swam for an hour, went for a 30min run and started the truck to see it went to ODO page.

I have made the following observations:

    · When this reset happens all consumption related data gets cleared except for the Past Record and Trip Information pages in the Eco app with the exception of the current data in the Past Record page. I.e. the current, non-saved bar graph and avg. in the Past Record page which is still gathering data from the current trip since it was last “Updated”. Miles remaining" does not seem affected.

    · This has happened to me in warm (~80F) and cool (~50F) weather.

    · This is not dependent on fuel tank level. I have had it occur from half a tank and higher.

    · This has only happened to me after driving less than approximately 15 minutes and stopping.

I have let my service adviser know of my findings since they have opened a case file. I'll contact Toyota as well and try to add this info to the case file.

Can anyone who also has this issue comment on whether you have had a reset happen after driving for some substantial distance?

Mine has stopped resetting. All I did was play with the buttons on steering wheel. Might have done a default set. Also played with the ECO App. No problems after two full tanks. Truck runs really well. Truck has 1700 miles on it.

Mine went about 2000 miles between the 2nd and 3rd resets.

Number 7 today. 10 min. drive, 5 minutes inside a store...
