    Hey all,

I've had my 2014 Tacoma TRD Off-Road for two weeks now and decided that I missed having CarPlay coming from my 2016 Volkswagen. I ordered the Alpine ILX-W650 from Crutchfield with ready harness and installed it yesterday. I was made aware that in order to have satellite radio as well as to retain my OE wiring I would need to purchase an XM tuner (SeriusXM XXV300) and a satellite radio to OE antenna adapter (idatalink ST01). Everything was installed just fine however the OE XM antenna wire that was plugged in to my ENTUNE stereo does not fit into the idatalink adapter.

Does anyone know a work around for this?

The left is the idatalink adapter and the right is the XM antenna wire (similar to the navigation wire).

This is my ENTUNE with XM and the port labeled is what the black cord was in.

Toyota used 3 different XM antenna connectors over the years and even different trims. Unfortunately, you were suggested the wrong one. Box it back up and return it.
I know the correct one comes in the sTO2 bundle, but I’m not sure if it’s available standalone

the sTO2 will have three adaptors in it. You should be good with one of them.
