Retro BHLM finished

just ordered a set of the d2s morimoto projectors. hopefully this will be what i'm looking for. if all else fails, i have some g37 w/ clear lenses i can pop in

 

Take detailed pictures! I do not have the funds yet to do it, but I should be happy with them

 

will do. bought a new set of stock lights for this transplant

the shrouds i wanted are on back order. will have make do w/o them for now unless i can fab something up in the mean time. they should be here next week, so if all goes well, by next weekend i should be up and running

 

here's an update regarding this retro i'm going to be doing. prior to placing my order with Matt, i had asked how it compared to the fx setup. he sent me this pics. now keep in mind, the width IS smaller than the fx. so if you want a crazy wide setup, then these may not be what you are looking for

got the parts all in. starting the retro!! decided at the last minute to paint the stock reflector a flat black. i'll post pics later of my progress.

yes, progress will be slightly slow, due to me working 4 - 12 hour shifts at work. won't be able to dedicate time to this til thursday. hopefully, however i will have my rock sliders to paint on thursday as well. i'll be busy this next weekend

 

Looks great! Not bad for $130! Did you get the H1 or D2S?

 

I got the d2s version. They use real hid bulbs, not a rebased one like the h1

can someone explain to me how projectors work and everything you need to use projectors instead of stock lights?
