Never thought to see someone ask for full chrome in a BHLM thread. Would these be CHLMs?

It's doable. Expensive, but doable. Look up Alsa Easy Chrome. There are other products as well (but I don't believe any of them are cheap). You might try local auto body places? But don't be shocked when you get quotes in the $300-500 range. That is just for the "chroming", not for opening the headlights and all that. Another option would be to open up some SR headlights and save the chrome side pieces, replace the reflector with a clear one (or close to it). You would still have some black inside, but it would get you really close. Maybe next time @no vtec 4me does a set of SR headlights he could set the chrome sidemarker surrounds to the side for you? Just a thought.

I just texted my cousin. He does some really cool stuff with paint. Used to do automotive, but got into displays and weird stuff. Anyway, here was his reply to give you an idea:

If you do it, you’ll have to change the title of your thread to add CHLM.

I have to admit, I think the all chrome ones are pretty good looking :crapstorm: I'm not a fan of the amber sidemarker, but done in white (or chromed @MESO sidemarkers, even better!) I think they would look pretty sharp. I'm even willing to help @Jimmyn000 get there if he is serious just so I could see it. If my truck wasn't black, I might have even kept mine chrome....

Just switched out my headlights. Not sure if I'm seeing things, but it looks like the light output is different (dimmer, less crisp). Anybody have any ideas or experiencing anything similar? First picture is before the swap, second picture is after the swap.

Are the headlights wet in the 2nd pic or just the truck?

The cut off doesn't seem as sharp but the output seems a better and a greater hot spot area

Headlights may have been wet as it was raining last night. But color seems similar on dry days as well.

I just meant water on the lights may have contributed to the cutoff looking less sharp. They look brighter to me though.

How does it look without your fogs on?

When I use my DD ss3 pro fogs my rx350 projectors seem less bright too, but its simply your eyes focusing more on the closer light source

I honestly think the difference is extremely minimal, if at all. If you’re solely going off camera pictures, and not a side by side comparison there’s a lot of factors to take in. Camera settings that automatically adjust for lighting conditions being one. To me the fog lighting looks different in both photos as well, the angle is different, rain in one photo, etc. so I’d attribute what you’re seeing mostly to that.

So I popped these morimoto xb fogs open and tossed some diode dynamics switchback halos in them. What do you think?
